For some people the world is full of intriguing puzzles. How do we make medicines work better, our building materials last longer, our natural resources go further? Chemical technologists work behind the scenes to help find the answers.
Chemical technologists are natural born problem-solvers with an aptitude for math and science, good communication skills and the ability to pay attention to detail. You could work in a variety of settings, from industrial plants to laboratories, and be involved in quality control testing, environmental analysis, product research and development, and more.

Your career options include working at a veterinary clinic, zoo or animal shelter, working with government or herd health programs to monitor livestock production, getting involved in laboratory research, operating your own kennel or training facility, or building a career in the pet industry.
