Saskatchewan’s economy is booming and employers need skilled employees who have the knowledge, experience and desire to help this province meet its economic potential.

The growing oil and gas, mining, construction, health care and food services industries need you! It’s estimated that by 2011, Saskatchewan will require 70,000* additional workers to fill vacancies left by retiring baby boomers and to fill newly created positions in growing industries.

SIAST is committed to offering diverse training opportunities. We offer approximately 160 programs in a variety of high-demand fields, and provide training to apprentices in almost 30 trades.

With over 95 per cent of SIAST graduates consistently rating their overall program quality experience as good to excellent, we know that our emphasis of providing students with real-life learning contributes to their academic and career success and supports the ongoing growth of our economy.
