Alumni Benefits and Services
SIAST alumni have access to a variety of campus resources and services.
Annual graduates of any SIAST advanced or applied certificate, certificate, diploma or degree program are automatically registered as alumni.
Any person who has completed an apprenticeship level, adult basic education, or a continuing education class, course or program is invited to contact the Alumni Relations office to register.
SIAST Publications
All registered alumni members automatically receive copies of SIAST’s annual newsletter Partners and Donor and Alumni Relations Go! Student Awards.
Plans are well underway for the second edition of our annual alumni publication Go! Alumni scheduled for circulation to all registered members in Spring 2012. Share with us who you are, where you are and what you are doing. Tell us what topics are of interest to you. Send us your success stories*.
SIAST is very proud of its alumni, the end result of everything that SIAST does, and the most important measure of SIAST’s excellence as a post-secondary institution.

Recreation Services
Once your Alumni Registration Form has been completed and processed, get fit and keep fit with SIAST's recreation services at Kelsey or Palliser campuses where you can enjoy:
- fitness centre access *
- locker room privileges
- campus recreation programming
- special alumni discounts

Library Services
SIAST alumni can access many of the library's resources on-site at any SIAST campus, including books, journals, DVD collections and electronic resources.
SIAST's circulation service desk staff will issue library cards to external borrowers upon presentation of valid identification. Our alumni and retirees (including retirees from former institutions prior to the creation of SIAST) can use their alumni card, proof of graduation or proof of retirement to register with the library for a renewable annual fee of $20.
Employment Services
Let us help you employ our qualified SIAST grads. Businesses can post job opportunities* by registering with SIAST Student Employment Services.

Events and Reunion Support Services
SIAST Alumni Relations office will provide the following supports to programs/groups for events:
- sponsorship template package
- assistance in contacting registered alumni on behalf of the program/group, while adhering to privacy guidelines
- facilitate invitation mail-out from SIAST Administrative Office through the contact centre
- promotion of event on SIAST Alumni web-page
- representation from SIAST Alumni Relations at event
- merchandise/prize give-aways
- follow-up story in Go! Alumni publication
We can help promote upcoming professional development and networking opportunities to SIAST alumni*. Send us the details 3-4 weeks prior to the event.
*SIAST Alumni Relations office reserves the right to approve or decline promotion, print or other support services at our discretion.
