SIAST Woodland Campus (Prince Albert)
Prince Albert was the location of Saskatchewan's first university and it's also the location of the fourth Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science and Technology campus.
SIAST Woodland Campus began as the Prince Albert Community College in 1963. Between 1987 and 1989, the Natonum Community College and the Northern Technical Institute merged and became SIAST Woodland Campus.
At SIAST Woodland Campus, we place a strong emphasis on practical training and the ability to perform in the workplace. We use varied instructional approaches (including lectures, group work, labs, field work and contemporary media) and provide students with extensive opportunities for self-directed learning activities. We also provide a range of student services and exciting career opportunities.
Our campus operates out of two buildings (the Technical and Academic Centres). Each centre offers a friendly, comfortable and supportive learning environment. The education and training we provide leaves no question that the Woodland Campus is the hub of post-secondary education in north central Saskatchewan.
